Common sense of buying sealing machine

Packaging containers are made of many materials, such as paper, plastic, glass, ceramics, metals, composite materials, etc., and the shape and physical properties of packaging containers are also different. Therefore, the sealing forms and sealing devices used are also different. Generally according to the mechanical properties of packaging materials, it can be divided into the following two categories:

(1) Flexible container sealing device
Flexible containers are bag-like containers made of flexible materials, such as paper, plastic film, and composite film. The sealing of this type of container is mostly combined with bag making and filling, and it is rarely used independently. Due to different materials, the sealing device is also different.
① Paper bag sealing device.
For paper materials, the adhesive is generally applied to the seal, and then mechanical pressure is applied to the seal.
② Sealing device for plastic film bags and composite film bags. Many plastics have good heat-sealability. Plastic bags or composite bags made of this kind of plastics are generally heated directly at the seal and applied mechanical pressure to make them fuse and seal.

(2) Rigid container sealing machine
Rigid container refers to a container whose shape is not easy to change after the container is formed, and its sealing mostly uses different forms of lids. The following types are commonly used.
① Screw cap. This kind of cover has internal threads processed in advance, and the threads can be single-ended or multi-threaded. For example, single-thread threads are used for medicine bottles, and multiple threads are used for canned bottles. This machine relies on rotating the cap to compress it to the container mouth.
②Knurling. This kind of closure is mostly made of aluminum without thread beforehand. The aluminum cap is rolled with a roller to make it appear with a thread that is exactly the same as the screw on the bottle mouth, and the container is sealed. This kind of cover breaks the indentation along the periphery of the skirt when it is unsealed and cannot be restored, so it is also called "theft-proof cover". This machine is mostly used for sealing and packaging high-end alcohol and beverages.
